Athletes from North Dakota and the surrounding states will meet in Fargo to compete in over 20 events during the three-day North Dakota Senior Games, August 19-22, 2021. Open to athletes age 50 and better, the games feature a variety of competitions, both team and individual, to showcase the benefits of making regular physical activity a lifelong pursuit.

A family friendly and locally owned restaurant is coming to Rose Creek Public Golf Course in time for the 2021 golf season. At the March 9, 2021 Fargo Park District Board Meeting, park commissioners approved the lease for a new restaurant partner at the district’s Rose Creek Public Golf Course.
In 2020, Legends Sports Bar and Grill was Voted Best Bar in the Fargo-Moorhead area and Best Restaurant in Moorhead, MN. The Minnesota establishment was founded in 2018 and holds live entertainment with daily specials.

The staff leadership team of the Fargo Park District is comprised of the directors. The day to day operations are managed by the Executive Director of Parks and Recreation. The district itself is divided into the following departments: Enterprise, Finance, Human Resources, Parks, Recreation, Valley Senior Services and Courts Plus Community Fitness.
