Athletes from across the nation will gather in Fargo this summer to compete in a variety of events for the annual North Dakota Senior Games hosted by the Fargo Park District. Open to athletes ages 50 and better, the three-day event with take place Aug. 13-15 and feature a variety of competitive events for both teams and individuals. This year’s registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 1, and can be found at ndseniorgames.com

The Fargo Park District is pleased to announce the hiring of Jayne Gust as the next deputy director of administration, effective June 17, 2024. Gust brings extensive leadership experience in public relations, community engagement and organizational strategy.
Most recently, Gust held several key positions at Sanford Health, including Director of Community Relations and Public Affairs Director. While at Sanford, Gust was integral in cultivating strategic communication and community relationships and enhancing the organization’s public image.

The Fargo Park District is excited to announce the opening of driving ranges, practice facilities and Rose Creek Public Golf Course on Friday, April 5. All scheduled openings are weather dependent.
The driving ranges and practice facilities at Rose Creek, Osgood and Edgewood Public Golf Courses will open at 10 am and all 18-holes at Rose Creek Public Golf Course will open at 12 pm on Friday, April 5. At this time, use of carts will be determined closer to Friday and dependent on turf conditions.

Due to the rapidly cooling temperatures, the Fargo Park District will close Rose Creek and Edgewood Public Golf Courses for the season at the end of the day on Tuesday, October 24. Osgood, Prairiewood and El Zagal Public Courses remain closed for the season.
