Approval of 2025 Fargo Park District Maintenance Equipment Bids
As part of the consent agenda, Commissioners voted 4 to 0 to approve the bid for the 2025 Fargo Park District maintenance equipment bids. The 2025 Fargo Park District maintenance equipment bids were received and publicly opened on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Fargo Park District office.
Funds for the equipment purchases will be taken from the 2025 approved budget. Total price for all bids were accepted at $719,520.27.

Approval of new Edgewood Golf Course Restaurant Lease
As part of the regular agenda, Commissioners voted 4 to 0 to approve a new lease for the restaurant located at Edgewood Golf Course. At the end of the 2024 golf season, Spirit Properties, which owned the Edgewood Tavern, decided to change their ownership group after five years of joint ownership. As part of the change, Keith Stensgard created a new LLC to operate the restaurant at Edgewood Golf Course.
A new lease has been created to begin in 2025. Highlights include:

Lease with tenant listed as “Edgewood Tavern, LLC” and Keith Stensgard as owner.

Term is one year with four periods to renew at one year each.

Rent is 7% of gross sales up to $1 million sales and increasing to 10% of any sales in excess of $1 million.

Tenant responsibilities are similar as in the original agreement and amendments.

Lease is for operation during the golf season, April 1 through October 31. Hours during the off season may be considered in the future.
