As a Coach
The recreation department relies on volunteers for coaching various programs throughout the year, two programs that we currently need coaches for are youth baseball and t-ball and youth flag football.
Adaptive Programs
Fargo Parks offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals of all abilities. Our Adult Adaptive Program is designed to create meaningful experiences for adults with disabilities, utilizing our parks and local facilities to promote fun, connection, and personal growth.

Adopt-The-Red
Groups adopt a reach of the Red River and agree to clean-up trash twice a year. The Adopt-The-Red program is offered in partnership with River Keepers and Moorhead Parks and Recreation. Cleanup crews may consist of a few friends or a large network of volunteers.
Adopt-A-Park
You are in a position to provide valuable service to your neighborhood while nurturing your connections to the community. Help keep your local parks clean by joining our Adopt-A-Park program.
The program is open to community groups, civic organizations, churches, businesses, and individuals willing to make a minimum five year commitment.
Winter Youth Sports Sampler Ages 4-6
Sports Sampler is a five-week program for children 4-6 years old. This program provides an opportunity for your child to "sample" a variety of sports to see if any spark an interest.
