Description

Create a one-of-a-kind pet portrait at this fun and feel-good event in partnership with Homeward Animal Shelter! Paint your own pet or one of the adorable animals joining us on site, with an instructor available for guidance along the way. Registration is $17 (includes all supplies), with optional donations encouraged to support the shelter. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your ticket in advance.

If you plan to paint your own pet, please submit a photo to Tatiana at tfriese@fargoparks.com at least one week prior to the event so we can have your canvas prepped and ready. Prefer to paint a shelter pet instead? You’ll have the option to donate your finished portrait to the future family who adopts them—making your artwork an extra special part of their story.

Big Kid Art (Ages 6-12)

Grow your child’s creativity! This mixed-age class offers young artists the opportunity to explore a variety of art media such as drawing, painting, watercolors, pastels, collage and more. Students will create fun, engaging projects while building artistic skills and confidence at their own level. Projects are designed to allow for creativity and flexibility, so both younger and more experienced artists can thrive.

Projects change each series, so students can repeat the class and continue to create, learn, and have fun. Classes are offered throughout the year.
