The bitter-sweet story of young lovers caught up in an political struggle waged by farmers against the grain trade, the banks and the railroads, Northern Lights brings back a forgotten era of American history and evokes the austere beauty of the Northern Plains.

The Fargo Park District together with AGL Landscape Architects and RDG Planning and Design created a master plan for Island Park to help build a better understanding of how the park is used, what existing features are to be preserved for the future and what other ideas can be generated to help guide future decisions and capital improvements within Island Park.
