Do you have an overgrown apple tree and you’re not sure where to start? Are you interested in learning ways to take care of trees and plants? Learn how to prune from the Fargo Park District Forestry experts at an Apple Tree Pruning Workshop on Saturday, May 7 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Orchard Glen.

Learn how to prune apple trees and get them ready for their summer growing season. Join Jim Walla, owner of Northern Tree Specialties and Sam DeMarais, Fargo Park District Forester for a live demonstration and tutorial. Topics of this workshop include tools and equipment, general pruning for tree health and maintenance, pruning of cherry, plum and pear trees as well as grafting apple trees.
