Fargo Park District Responds to Cybersecurity Event

Description

The Fargo Park District invites the public to the community’s first State of the Parks public forum on Tuesday, December 6 at 5:30 pm. The forum will include a report delivered by Fargo Park District Executive Director Dave Leker reflecting on the past year, celebrating the District’s many successes and looking forward to future initiatives. The event will be hosted at the Dakota Medical Foundation, 4141 28th Ave S, Fargo.    

The event is free to the public but does require registration.

The public forum will be streamed via the Fargo Park District YouTube channel and the Fargo Park District Facebook page and recordings will be available after the event. 

The public is also urged to submit items of interest and questions via the registration link. A moderator will facilitate a question-and-answer portion of the event using submitted questions with Fargo Park District leadership. 

Expected topics of discussion include the Fargo Parks Sports Complex, Island Park Pool, Yunker Farm Park Master Plan, Island Park Master Plan, recreation programs, and the District’s recent strategic plan and reorganization.

Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

We are currently recruiting coaches for the inaugural Fargo Park District High School Girls Flag Football program! This season runs from mid-April, with weekly practices leading up to games and the championship in early June before graduation. If you are passionate about working with young athletes and helping grow girls flag football locally and statewide, we’d love to have you on our coaching team.

Adaptive Adventures

Enjoy weekly activities designed specifically for adults (18+) with cognitive disabilities, including those who may also have physical disabilities. Activities include sports, creative arts, games, and social events - designed to promote fun, fitness, and connection in a supportive environment.
