Recreational Trails

Deer Creek Park offers a basketball court, soccer field, grill and picnic tables, a playground, recreational trails and a shelter.

Urban Plains has two playgrounds, recreational trails, three large shelters, a small shelter, a gazebo and houses the Garden of Healing. Urban Plains is a project of the Urban Woods & Prairie Initiative with Audubon Great Plains. 

This 28-acre park has two playgrounds, recreational trails, 18-hole disc golf course, shelter and stage rentals. Wedding reservations are accepted at Trollwood.

Rabanus Park features basketball and sand volleyball courts, grill and picnic tables, a playground and a shelter with restrooms, electricity and water. It's located on the site of the Fargo Project.

Lindenwood Park is the largest multi-use park in Fargo with five picnic shelters, a beautifully landscaped campground, bike & kayak rentals, restrooms, and two playgrounds including a fully adaptive playground for people of all abilities. There is a pedestrian bridge connected to Moorhead's Memorial Park

This beautiful complex has been renovated as part of the Oak Street Levee Project and now has four softball fields, a sledding hill and bathroom building used as a warming facility with concessions. It also features grills and picnic tables, a playground and recreational trails.

Fargo's oldest park located in the beautiful downtown area. It includes a basketball court, tennis courts, handball, grills and picnic tables, playground, cross country ski trails, recreational trails, rentals and a swimming pool.

This 8-court complex is one of the finest in the Midwest with 18-inches of pure super-soft mason sand. Rabanus Sand Volleyball Complex also offers picnic tables and shelters that are available by the courts on a first come, first serve basis.

Lemke Park has an outdoor skating and hockey rink, a warming house, picnic tables, an indoor shelter space available for rent in the summer, a playground and recreational trails. A project of the Urban Woods & Prairie Initiative with Audubon Dakota, Lemke Park is a Conservation Area and provides plenty of opportunities to see birds and other wildlife in a natural setting along the banks of the Red River. Lemke Conservancy provides woodlands and wetlands to be explored within the park.

Forest River Park is a heavily wooded area that has all types of trails. The trails wind through vegetation, giving you a chance to see wildlife in a natural setting. A project of the Urban Woods & Prairie Initiative with Audubon Dakota, Forest River provides plenty of opportunities to see birds and other wildlife in a natural setting along the banks of the Red River.
