The Garden of Healing began in 2020 to serve as a place for all types of healing for the FM area community and anyone who travels to this state. The Garden of Healing's purpose is to provide a safe, positive place in nature for your self-guided walk of healing and reflection.

The Garden is healing for anyone who has lost a loved one, knows someone struggling or sick, or someone that has re-gained LIFE by some type of donor or spiritual meaning. 

The Garden of Healing is rooted in health for all the community to visit day/night.

Engraved bricks are placed twice a year in the Garden of Healing to honor loved ones and life itself. Everyone is welcome to purchase a brick to for personalized engraving, bricks cost $100.

Reservation Details

To rent a shelter, please visit the reservation page. Requests for rental can be made starting from the first business day of the year. The rental period is from May 1 to October 1 each year.

Advance Booking

All rentals must be booked at least 3 business days in advance.

Policy on Refunds

Please note that the Park District has a strict NO REFUND policy.

How to Reserve and View Pricing

To view pricing and reserve your shelter online, please go to the registrations/rentals section and log in to your account. Fees are subject to change, and additional fees may apply.

Rental Duration and Timing

Please be aware that rentals are for full days only. The rental times are from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Shelter accommodates up to 100 people includes electricity, charcoal grill, serving bar and restrooms on site.

Gazebo accommodates up to 14 people. Area around the gazebo can also be used. Electricity Available. No grill. Gazebo is located close to Garden of Healing.
