Fargo Park District & USA Broomball rules will apply to all leagues.

Helmets are mandatory for all players. Players aren't able to play without one. Goalies must have face protection. Broomball shoes and mouth guards are a suggestion but not mandatory.

Island Park History

Island Park was part of the original townsite of Fargo plotted out by the Northern Pacific Railroad. Jacob Lowell, Jr. and J.B. Power interceded with the railroad and the area that is now Island Park was deeded to the city for a park. 

Men's

Fargo Park District & USA Broomball rules will apply to all leagues.

* EQUIPMENT - Helmets are mandatory for all players. Players will be unable to play without one. Goalies must have face protection. Broomball shoes/mouth guards are a suggestion but not mandatory.

Coed

Coed Broomball has a 6 game season, plus tournament participation. The league is for men and women ages 16 and up.  Games will be played on Sunday evenings.

Men's

Men's Broomball has a 12 game season, plus tournament participation. Leagues are for ages 16 and up.  Games will be played on Wednesday evenings.

Broomball

Similar to hockey, broomball is a fast-paced sport that's a hybrid of roller hockey and floor ball. It's a perfect indoor activity to participate in during the bleak winter months.
