Water Safety Day
We want you to enjoy your summer at the pool - safely. That's why the Fargo Park District pools are teaming up with pools across the metro to hold Water Safety Day! This free community event is intended to increase water safety awareness and teach critical water safety skills to kids and their parents.
Water Safety Day includes activities designed to teach kids to stay safe while having fun in the water. Participants will learn the "Throw, Don't Go" strategy, back floating skills, safe usage of life jackets, swim tests, general water safety skills, information for parents or daycares and more! Following the event, pools are open for the day as scheduled with regular admission rates. To schedule a swim test, please call the pool directly:

There are multiple ways individuals or organizations can donate to the Fargo Parks Sports Center. Park Board
The Fargo Park District is governed by a board of elected park commissioners. The five Commissioners are elected at large, meaning that every citizen has an opportunity to vote for each of them. Commissioners are elected for four-year terms with no term limits.
Summer Sand Volleyball
Sand volleyball leagues will play eight or nine weeks between May-August, plus tournament participation. The leagues will play outdoors on sand courts. The games will be informal without officiating. Players cannot play on more than one league/team per night.
Spring Adult Volleyball
This league takes place between March-May. All teams will play 14 matches of league play, plus tournament participation. A match consists of three games up to 20 points using the rally point system. All leagues are 6-player leagues and players cannot play on more than one league/team per night.
Winter Adult Volleyball
This league takes place between November-February. All teams will play 14 matches of league play, plus tournament participation. A match consists of three games up to 20 points using the rally point system. All leagues are 6-player leagues and players cannot play on more than one league/team per night.
Note: Leagues are scheduled pending availability of gyms and days teams are available to play.
