Fargo Parks is dedicated to providing a fun and inclusive environment for everyone! With specially designed programs for special needs youth, our caring staff and accessible facilities ensure that every participant enjoys a safe and engaging experience. Come be a part of the fun!

Adaptive Programs

The  Summer Camp programs are for children (ages 5-17) and adults (ages 18-21) with special needs, and offer recreational opportunities that encourage social interaction through field trips, picnics, games and more.

Adaptive Summer Camps are at various park locations, Monday-Thursday in June and July. For questions, call Fargo Parks Program Supervisor, Damian Caron at 701-499-7767. Follow this link to fill out the Adaptive Summer Camp Application.

Squirt Camp: 5-7 years olds
Junior Camp: 8-10 years olds
Teen Camp: 11-15 years olds
Camp-A-Day: 16-21 years olds

This program is for children (ages 5-17) and adults (ages 18-20) with special needs. Attendees learn basic skills and techniques of Tae Kwon Do. Adaptive Tae Kwon Do is at Red River Traditional Tae Kwon Do (3509 4th Ave S, Fargo, ND) on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Multiple sessions are offered throughout the year. This program is taught by 7th degree Grand Master Jim Grimestad.

Fargo Park District Programs & Leagues

All Fargo Park District programs and leagues are first come first serve. Please be advised, a lot of programs and leagues fill up before the registration deadline. You cannot register for a program or league that is already full. Some programs and leagues have waitlists. If you are on a waitlist, you are NOT registered and are only contacted if a spot becomes available.
