It’s finally time to lace up your skates and hit the ice on the SCHEELS Skating Rink at Broadway Square in the heart of Downtown Fargo for a season opening ice skating party on Wednesday, December 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Join for a night of frosty fun, live music with DJ Pretty Ricky, giveaways and more!

Pretty Ricky will start a live DJ set at 6:00 pm. Warm up with hot chocolate from Black Coffee and Waffle Bar who will be on-site with buy one, get one free coupons to the first 100 attendees! 

Skating is free, skates are available to rent from the Skate Shake located next to the bathrooms. 

Step into a winter wonderland the Fargo Park District’s Open Skate events. Join us for a season of icy fun as we invite you to lace up your skates and glide into one of our four indoor ice arenas.

Whether you're a seasoned skater or just starting out, our Open Skate welcomes all skill levels and ages for a delightful time on the ice. Bring your own skates as skate rentals will not be available. We will have a few skate trainers at each arena.

Admission: 

Admission for Open Skate at the Studio Rink at the Sport Arena is free.
