Setting the scene

The natural beauty that will surround your venue provides a picturesque backdrop for your happy day. The same lovely scenery that has drawn you to have your wedding in this place also inspires members of the public to enjoy a day in the park. There may be neighborhood children playing at the playground, families enjoying a round of disc golf or friends taking a stroll through the park throughout the day. Please keep in mind that your rental does not promise you exclusive access to the park.

Alcohol is not allowed at the Island Park Gazebo, Urban Plains Gazebo, Trollwood Park Amphitheatre and Barn Stage. If you’d like to have a toast to the happy couple at Urban Plains Park Shelters, Rheault Farm or the Trollwood Park's Mega Shelter, West Gazebo, or Art Mart you will need to complete a Group Consumption Permit for an additional $50 fee. No glass bottles, hard alcohol or kegs are allowed

The shelters and most of the covered spaces include picnic tables as part of the rental. These tables cannot be removed from the venue for a ceremony. The outdoor sites such as Barn Stage and Amphitheater at Trollwood and Gazebo at Island Park do not have seating provided. Chairs can be rented from an outside rental company and carried in from the parking lot.

Finding the way

Let guests know where to find you by including detailed directions with your invitations. Be specific about where they should assemble: "The Barn Stage located in the east part of Trollwood Park"—not "Trollwood Park." Posting free standing signs in the park is allowed, but they must be removed immediately following the ceremony.
