Fun - Workshops, Trivia, Scavenger Hunt
Nature of the North is offering Surviving Fargo workshops that, in a comical yet serious way, teach people the ins and outs of living in and surviving life in Fargo. These workshops occur every half-hour leading up to the 4:00 pm screening (2:30, 3:00 & 3:30 pm).
Food
Local small-business vendors including Jay’s Smokin’ BBQ, the Boiler Room and Freddy's Lefse are bringing out and offering up their unique takes on classic Fargo foods, including hotdish (with brisket instead of ground beef), vegan chili, Swedish meatballs and lefse. Local craft beverages are provided by Fargo Brewing Company and Flannel Fizz with Pepsi products available in the Skate Shack.
Film
Broadway Square and the ND Film Society have gathered a few choice pre-recorded messages from celebrities who worked on either the film or tv versions of Fargo. These messages were recorded just for this event’s Fargo crowd, so the message is sure to be unique and special! These clips are played in the two hours leading up to the film screening. The screening of the 1996 cult classic film, Fargo (R) begins at 4:00 pm.
