The Fargo Park District Foundation was founded in 2018.

Our Mission:

Enhance the quality of life in the metro area through the development of modernized facilities, new programs and by offering great opportunities for all in the community.

Our Purpose: 

Pursue unique fundraising opportunities and increase private sector support to further the development, growth, and excellence of the Park District in providing modernized facilities and quality recreation services.

 

Foundation Board

The leadership for the Fargo Park District Foundation Foundation Board of Directors is made up of community leaders and concerned citizens serving in a volunteer capacity. Their roles include financial overview and support, overseeing risk and compliance (fiduciary), creating accountability, transparency and strategic fundraising direction and monitoring and evaluating governance.

SCHOOL DISTRICT PROPERTY:

Projects on Fargo or West Fargo School District property must have a letter of support from the respective School District. Projects on School District property must have a three-way dollar for dollar match with the School District, School PTO and Fargo Park District.  

WHO CAN APPLY:

Associations, organizations, clubs, or individuals in the Fargo Park District who are interested in applying for a grant to sponsor a project may apply.  Projects must be facility improvements and may include the purchase of recreation equipment.
