Holm Park is a large grass area along the Red River. To get to this park you'll need to walk in on a recreational trail.

Heritage Hills is classified as one of Fargo's nature parks and is a beautiful area filled with nature trails, ski trails and some paved trails. A project of the Urban Woods & Prairie Initiative with Audubon Dakota, Heritage Hills provides plenty of opportunities to see birds and other wildlife in a natural setting along the banks of the Red River.

Hampton Park is a small neighborhood park that features a playground and a couple of picnic tables.

Greenfields Park is a neighborhood park that has a playground. There is no parking right next to the park.

Great Northern Park is a perfect place for a picnic lunch in downtown Fargo. The park features picnic tables and offers a small grass area.
