Fargo Birding Festival
Join the Fargo Park District and Audubon Great Plains for a morning of birds and binoculars in beautiful South Fargo. This birding festival is held in Forest River Park, which is designated as an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society and Birdlife International, joining a global network of the most important sites for birds.
All skill levels are welcome and no registration is required for this free event. Bring your family out and learn about birding from experts, courtesy of Audubon Great Plains. Don't forget to bring a pair of binoculars, a limited number is provided.
Create and Explore (ages 3-5 + adult)
Create a masterpiece in this parent and child class. Explore different mediums together while enhancing motor skills. Imaginations required for a class filled with painting, drawing, coloring, crafts and projects galore! Adult must attend class with child.
Artmania (ages 6-8)
Challenge your child's creativity! This combination class offers independent children a sampling of art projects using various media such as drawing, painting, watercolors and pastels. Projects change each series, so students can repeat the class and continue to create and have fun. Classes are held throughout the year.
