Spend time connecting with the outdoors in beautiful Lindenwood Park at the campground. Lindenwood Campground is located in the heart of Fargo, ND. Enjoy urban camping and all that Fargo has to offer.

Lindenwood Campground is one of the finest campgrounds in the upper Midwest. The heavily wooded campsite is nestled along the Red River, adding to the "wilderness feeling" of Lindenwood Park. Campground conveniences include paved drive, electricity, picnic tables, running water, fire pits, hot showers, restrooms, two playground facilities, kayak rentals, bike rentals and bike trails. Plus, 46 back-in campsites are provided with water and electricity.

The Fargo Park District has a no-refund policy on reservations. There is NO alcohol allowed inside the campground area.

Reservations will begin on the first business day in January for that year's camping season. Please book online. Reservations can be made after May 1 by calling 701-232-3987 as well.

The 1,860 square foot building at Lindenwood Campground includes a campground information desk, restrooms, and showers for the campers.

Rates and Services

  • Campsite: $37.00 per night, including electricity and water. All sites are back-in only.
  • Sewer Dump Station: $5.00 (free for registered campers)

Firewood Policy

Outside firewood is not allowed. Firewood is available for purchase at the Information Center. This ban is to help prevent the spread of tree diseases throughout the country. Firewood for campers is available at $7.00 per bundle.

Cold Weather Advisory

If overnight temperatures are expected to drop below 32 degrees, water to the campsites will be shut off in the afternoon to avoid freezing pipes. Water will remain available in the buildings. As much notice as possible will be given to campers to allow them time to fill their holding tanks.

Stay Limitations

Campers are limited to no more than a 14-day stay per month. For further clarification, please contact Lindenwood Campground.
