Check out this Read in Color Recommended Reading List, developed by Little Free Library’s Diverse Books Advisory Group, and pick out your next book.

This list and the Read in Color initiative work to amplify diverse voices and expand authentic representation available in the reading materials of people of all ages, cultures and demographic intersections. This carefully curated list includes options for early readers, middle and YA readers, adults and advanced readers.

There are a couple ways to bring Read in Color to your social media and tell your friends to read some of these cool books too. 

• Hashtag - Use the hashtag #ReadInColor to help spread the word! Share photos, book recommendations, reviews and more, but don't forget to hashtag #ReadInColor and #FargoBroadwaySquare to show us that you care.
• Review a Book - Consider writing a review of your favorite Read in Color book and sharing it on your social media.

Everyone can virtually sign a Read in Color pledge indicating their commitment to read and share diverse books. Broadway Square has signed the pledge - now you can, too!

Download, review, fill in and sign this Certificate of Commitment (available in in English or Spanish) to Read in Color.

Then, show your certificate to friends, teachers and librarians via social media photos. Don't forget to use the hashtag #ReadInColor!
