Emily Secor May was elected to her first term on the Fargo Park Board in June 2026. She is an attorney with more than 15 years of experience in consumer protection, risk management, and governance oversight, and currently works as a Senior Compliance Manager at M&T Bank. Earlier in her career, Emily held senior risk leadership roles at U.S. Bancorp, served as a Consumer Affairs Examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, and worked in consumer protection class action litigation.
Having grown up in Fargo, Emily loves staying active and connected in the community alongside her husband and four children. She serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for Sollera and enjoys volunteering with non-profit organizations, especially those focused on food and housing access. You’ll find Emily and her family on a field, court, course, or trail most evenings, often with their dog Oliver along for the fun. Their kids’ activities keep Emily and her husband busy as spectators and coaches, and she enjoys the sense of community they bring through shared experiences and new connections.
