Bring your family for fun races and games! Create a sled from cardboard and race down Mickelson Sledding Hill. Join the Fargo Park District for this free event at Mickelson Sledding Hill on Saturday, January 22. Races start at 11:00 am.
Pre-registration is not required for this free event. Team costumes are encouraged. Teams and individuals are awarded for best sled design and the fastest sled in each class.
Speed races are held in the following classes with awards presented to the first three participants that cross the finish line:
- Class 1: Age 10 and under
- Class 2: Ages 11-17
- Class 3: Ages 18+
Learn more about the official Cardboard Sled Race rules at FargoParks.com. Warm winter clothing and snow boots are recommended. Registration opens on-site at 11:00 am in the warming house and races start at 11:30 am.
