Volleyball

 

This program focuses on teaching both girls and boys the fundamentals of volleyball, teamwork and sportsmanship. Players register on an individual basis only. Teams are formed by the Fargo Park District. Practices and games are approximately one hour. A schedule with the actual dates and times is posted online after teams have been formed.

Broomball

Similar to hockey, broomball is a fast-paced sport that's a hybrid of roller hockey and floor ball. It's a perfect indoor activity to participate in during the bleak winter months.

Swimming Lessons

 

Children progress through a series of seven levels designed to teach the fundamentals of swimming and encourage aquatic exploration with guided instruction. In doing so, the Fargo Park District works to ensure a high level of competency is acquired by participants in both aquatic safety and swimming skills.

Water Safety Day

Description

We want you to enjoy your summer at the pool - safely. That's why the Fargo Park District pools are teaming up with pools across the metro to hold Water Safety Day! This free community event is intended to increase water safety awareness and teach critical water safety skills to kids and their parents. 

Water Safety Day includes activities designed to teach kids to stay safe while having fun in the water. Participants will learn the "Throw, Don't Go" strategy, back floating skills, safe usage of life jackets, swim tests, general water safety skills, information for parents or daycares and more! Following the event, pools are open for the day as scheduled with regular admission rates. To schedule a swim test, please call the pool directly:
