Yunker Farm Park has a non-reservable shelter and playground. This northside Fargo Dog Park offers fenced-in areas for large and small dogs to exercise and socialize with seating for dog owners and a dog shelter.

The Northern Plains Botanic Garden operates a collection of gardens located on 6 acres of Yunker Farm that show an array of plants and showcase garden design ideas for different habitats. Visiting the gardens is free and open to the public.

The Yunker Farm Garden Plots are a type of community gardening where individuals or groups rent a garden plot on a seasonal basis to grow produce. Plots are maintained by their assigned gardeners. These plots work well for individuals or groups that are looking for a space to grow produce. The plots will be available to rent annually for a minimal fee. 

To rent your very own Yunker Farm Garden Plot! There are over 200 garden plots available for the public to purchase for the season. Garden plots are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Please watch Fargo Park District social media, join the Fargo Park District newsletter and/or website for exact date of sale. A date will not be posted until weather conditions allow entry into the park and ground has time to be prepped. 

Garden Plots are 20 x 30 for $20 each. Individuals can rent up to four spots. Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted. 

The plot preparation, extra soil or manure materials, tools, operation, and maintenance of the community garden will be the responsibility of the assigned gardeners. 

The Fargo Park District does not supply restrooms, water, or electricity by the gardens. 

Rentals will take place May 16, 6:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Garden Plots. They are a first come first serve. After that date you will be able to rent them at the Depot, 701 Main Ave.
