Brunsdale Park has two youth baseball fields, one full-size baseball field, nine pickleball courts, a batting cage, concessions, picnic tables and shelter, playground, recreational trails, restrooms and a StoryWalk.

Amenities

The youth baseball fields at Brunsdale Park have been adopted by Fargo Youth Baseball. The full-size baseball field has an agri-lime infield that's open for baseball practices and games.

This amenity, new in 2017, provides an outdoor venue at Brunsdale Park for the Fargo community to enjoy the fastest growing sport in America. An ideal sport for people of all ages, pickleball is a paddle sport that requires a miniature size tennis court set to specific dimensions.

The six court complex was built through a donation by Tom and Mary Brunsdale. Three pickleball courts were added in 2022 for a total of nine courts.

StoryWalk is a series of permanent signs designed to connect reading and learning with physical activity. This self-paced, family-friendly activity is spread out to encourage residents of all ages to read, move and enjoy the outdoors. Located along the Milwaukee Trail beginning on the northwest end of the park near the playground, the StoryWalk extends to the south along the trail before returning to end near the playground.

StoryWalk was installed in partnership with the Fargo Public Library through the Fargo Park District's Matching Grant Program. For more information on the StoryWalk project, contact the Children’s Services Department at 701-241-1495 or email kids@fargolibrary.org.

Featured books change every few months. The current walk features the art and words from the book “My Garden” by Kevin Henkes. StoryWalk is a free activity available to residents during regular park hours.

More amenities at Brunsdale Park include a batting cage, concessions, picnic tables and shelter, playground, recreational trails, and restrooms. Milwaukee Trail runs through Brunsdale Park.
