StoryWalk is a series of permanent signs designed to connect reading and learning with physical activity. This self-paced, family-friendly activity is spread out to encourage residents of all ages to read, move and enjoy the outdoors. Located along the Milwaukee Trail beginning on the northwest end of the park near the playground, the StoryWalk extends to the south along the trail before returning to end near the playground.
StoryWalk was installed in partnership with the Fargo Public Library through the Fargo Park District's Matching Grand Program. For more information on the StoryWalk project, contact the Children’s Services Department at 701-241-1495 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Featured books change every few months. The current walk features the art and words from the book “If You Were a Penguin” by Wendell and Florence Minor. StoryWalk is a free activity available to residents during regular park hours.
