A Musical Ice Extravaganza

At the end of each skating season, the Fargo Park District hosts an annual ice skating show. This year’s Ice Revue will take place at Cornerstone Bank Arena on March 14 and 15 at 7:00 pm, and March 16 at 1:00 pm, with a dress rehearsal scheduled for Thursday, March 13 at 5:45 pm. The Ice Revue provides skaters with a fantastic opportunity to showcase the skills they’ve mastered throughout the season to their friends and family.

Skaters will be assigned their parts for the show based on the number of hours skated over the winter, their test level, and their effort and dedication at the rink. Please plan to practice almost daily during the two weeks leading up to the Ice Revue. We will do our best to schedule younger skaters for earlier practice times. Consistent attendance at practices is crucial, but if you anticipate any absences, please reach out to Laura to discuss options.

Billing for lessons will follow the same process as during the skating session. For groups of two or more skaters, lesson time with the coach will be divided equally among the skaters. Each coach will provide their bill to the skaters at the end of show practices. We kindly ask that you settle this bill by the end of Ice Revue weekend. Your prompt payment is greatly appreciated!

There is a registration fee of $70.00 to participate in the Fargo Park District Ice Revue.

Please see the costume size chart in the drop down below and send your sizes to Laura as soon as possible. If you're unsure or between sizes, we recommend ordering the larger size, as these costumes may not have as much stretch as typical figure skating dresses. The most important measurement to consider is girth. Pictures of the selected costumes will be shared with skaters before ordering. Costumes typically cost between $60 and $80, and each skater will have 2 to 3 parts in the show.

Coaches will handle costume purchases, and reimbursement will be required before costumes can be taken home. An invoice will be provided for your convenience.

Pictures for the program will be taken in advance. Be watching for this schedule.

All skaters in MDF and private lessons have already been assigned a part, and planning is well underway.

If you do not plan to participate in the Ice Revue, please notify Laura as soon as possible. Parts are being finalized, and it’s important to know your plans.

Registration deadline: January 31

Please note that registrations must be completed online—paper registrations will not be accepted.
