In her role as Deputy Director of Administration, Jayne provides leadership in several critical areas including finance, human resources, IT, marketing, sales, golf pro shops, Fargo Parks Sports Center, and Valley Senior Services. She works closely with both the Executive Director and the Deputy Director of Operations in shaping overall strategy for the Fargo Park District.
Jayne joined the Fargo Park District in June of 2024, previously serving in key roles at Sanford Health including Director of Community Relations and Public Affairs Director. She holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from North Dakota State University (NDSU). While at NDSU, Gust was a member of the women’s basketball team where she was named NCAA Division II Player of the Year, Kodak All-American, and Honda Broderick Female Athlete of the Year.
Jayne lives in Fargo with her husband Mike, daughters Addyson (14) and Elyn (11), and twin boys Graham (9) and Jude (9). The Gusts are an active family and avid users of the Fargo Parks, including Courts Plus, various golf courses, and numerous community parks.
