Project Overview:
At the October 5, 2021 Fargo Park Board Meeting, commissioners approved and awarded a proposal for Master Planning Services at Island Park to AGL Landscape Architects and RDG Planning and Design.
The preparation of a master plan for Island Park will help build a better understanding of how the park is used, what existing features are to be preserved for the future and what other ideas can be generated to help guide future decisions and capital improvements within Island Park. The final master plan will provide a summary of these ideas, priorities and opportunities as a guiding document for the Fargo Park District to help plan and implement future park improvements for the next 20 years and beyond.
The master plan completed in May 2022.
