June 8 - Family Reading Night
Bring the whole family to Family Reading Night at Clara Barton Park! Bring your favorite book, make your very own reading journal, take part in a reading circle or guided reading activity and much more. Don't forget to bring a chair, blanket or hammock to cozy up with your book.
June 22 - Kids Triathlon
Join in on the fun and take part in our Kids Triathalon at Madison Park & Bicycle Playground! The triathlon includes biking, an obstacle course, and a disc throwing activity. This event is a free event for ages 12 and under, training wheels accepted. We ask that kids bring their own bikes to this event. Bicycle helmets are required to participate. All participants get to make their own medals in our craft activity.
July 6 - Scavenger Hunt
Put your detective skills to work and join us at Lewis & Clark Park on July 6 for a Scavenger Hunt! Follow clues around the park during this fun, family-friendly, free event.
July 20 - Winter in July
Experience classic winter activities with a summer twist at Longefellow Park! Take part in colorful "snowball" battles, design a personalized snow angel with sidewalk chalk, and create your own summer snowman. Please note that "snowball" coloring generally doesn't stain garments, but it is possible.
August 3 - BubbleMania!
Join us at Roosevelt Park and revel in all things bubble-related at our final activity of the summer. Get into the action making giant bubbles, create a bubble-themed craft, and burst some moves in our bubble dance party.
