The Fargo Park District is excited to announce that it has been awarded a grant from the Minnesota Twins Fields for Kids Program. The grant has been utilized to enhance local baseball and softball facilities, contributing positively to the development of youth sports in the community.

Funds were used to replace the dugouts at Field #1 of the Anderson Softball Complex and to upgrade the bullpens on the baseball fields at Tharaldson Baseball Complex with new portable pitching mounds. These improvements are part of the Fargo Park District’s ongoing commitment to providing quality recreational opportunities for youth athletes in the region.

The Twins Fields for Kids program, administered by the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, offers financial support to improve baseball and softball facilities throughout the upper Midwest and southwest Florida. Since its inception in 1999, the program has granted more than $5.5 million to nearly 900 ball fields
