**Elements of this event will change significantly from previous years due to COVID-19 precautions. This page will be updated with current information weekly on Wednesdays.**

With the wellbeing of the community as the primary focus, you’ll notice significant changes at the Santa Village event this year due to COVID-19 precautions but there’s still plenty to enjoy! Event organizers will still offer a in-person event experience on limited days in December and are moving other components of the event online for families to enjoy in a virtual setting.

Santa and Mrs. Claus want to make sure they make it to everyone’s home this year, so they will not be at this year’s event in person. Breakfast with Santa and Daycare Days are cancelled this year at Santa Village. Santa Village dates will be condensed to two weekends at Rheault Farm and masks are required. No indoor spaces will be open during the event.

Celebrate the season of giving at Rheault Farm this holiday season by planning a visit to Santa Village. Santa Village, located on a 15-acre enclosed farm site, is a non-commercial village where children and adults can make holiday memories and celebrate the Season of Giving. Remember to dress warm and bring your camera!

Additional Information

  • Catch a glimpse of the Claus’s inside their North Pole workshop through a virtual livestream at Rheault Farm
  • See Santa's reindeer
  • Drop off your letter to Santa
  • Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides* (from 2:00-5:00 pm Saturdays and Sundays only)
  • Take-home craft and activities and two special virtual activities with video links featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus - The special video links include reading a book with Santa and baking cookies with Mrs. Claus
  • Light displays

*Tickets for Horse Drawn Carriage Rides are $2.50 per person and can be purchased at the elf house by the reindeer. Children 3 and under ride free with an adult.

Admission to Santa Village is free, however, guests are encouraged to bring donations of canned goods, cash, and new toys to the in-person event. These donations are then used to support area organizations including the Giving Tree of Hope, the Children's Miracle Network, the YMCA 21st Century Community Learning Centers, and the Great Plains Food Bank. Santa Village does not keep any of these donations.

Due to COVID-19, we are not accepting used toy donations this year.

Even though Santa and Mrs. Claus will not be at Santa Village this year, they still want to bring the magic of the season to your home. Families can register to receive a personalized greeting from the Clauses in the mail. The personalized greeting includes a photo and letter from Santa, one greeting per family.

Annually, Santa Village focuses on the Season of Giving and encouraging giving back to the community during the holiday season. In that spirit, we encourage families to give a free-will donation to receive your message in the mail. 100% of the proceeds from these messages will be donated to the Sanford Children's Miracle Network, the Great Plains Food Bank, and First Link's Giving Tree of Hope. We suggest a minimum donation of $5.00 per recipient.

In addition, families can purchase a copy of the brand new book, Santa's Favorite Things, that is all about the Season of Giving and why Santa loves this time of year.  Written and illustrated by members of the Fargo community, this limited edition soft-cover book will sure to delight family members young and old.  100% of the proceeds from the book sales will also be donated back to community organizations.
