The Fargo Park District High School Girls Flag Football program, proudly sponsored by the Minnesota Vikings, offers female athletes in grades 9–12 an exciting opportunity to learn, compete, and grow in the sport of flag football. Open to all high school girls across the metro area, including but not limited to Fargo, West Fargo, Horace, Harwood, Moorhead, Casselton, Mapleton, Dilworth, and surrounding communities. This program aligns with the Vikings’ broader initiative to expand girls flag football and empower young women on and off the field. Participants will focus on skill development, teamwork, and athletic confidence while enjoying a fun and competitive flag football experience.
League Details
High school–aged girls are invited to take part in our 8-week Flag Football season! This program is designed to give athletes a competitive, fun, and school-centered experience similar to a high school sport.
Games will be played on Sundays, with two games each week, and practices will take place one evening during the week. We are committed to working around each school’s existing sports schedules to ensure athletes can participate without conflict.
Each school will have the opportunity to form its own team, with players grouped by school first. If needed, schools may be combined after the registration deadline to ensure full teams. Teams will be formed with a minimum of 10 players.
This is a great opportunity to develop skills, compete, and be part of a growing sport, all while representing your school!
Practice will start the week of April 13 with exact day and time to be determined.
