The Fargo Park District has teamed up with The 1889 to present an extraordinary opportunity for kids to embark on a delicious journey through Youth Culinary Classes.
The classes and summer cooking camp are specially designed to introduce kids to the basics of cooking in a fun and interactive environment. Led The 1889 instructors, these sessions promise to ignite a passion for food while equipping participants with essential culinary skills.
The 1889 Culinary Classes
Embark on a culinary adventure with The 1889 and uncover the joy of cooking! Dive into our specially tailored Youth Culinary Classes, where creativity meets the kitchen for an experience like no other.
Upcoming Classes:
- Kid's Cook (ages 7-11) - Tuesday, March 12: Dive into culinary exploration where kids and parents come together to cook up a storm where we will be cooking up lunch and dessert. Adult participation is required. *Gluten free cooking available.
- Cake Decorating (ages 9-14) - Thursday, March 14: Baking at it's finest! Participants will create their own one-layer cake, master the art of crafting buttercream frosting, and delve into fundamental cake decorating techniques. *Gluten free cooking available

All Fargo Park District programs and leagues are first come first serve. Please be advised, a lot of programs and leagues fill up before the registration deadline. You cannot register for a program or league that is already full. Some programs and leagues have waitlists. If you are on a waitlist, you are NOT registered and are only contacted if a spot becomes available
