The Fargo Park District has teamed up with The 1889 to present an extraordinary opportunity for kids to embark on a delicious journey through Youth Culinary Classes.
The classes and summer cooking camp are specially designed to introduce kids to the basics of cooking in a fun and interactive environment. Led The 1889 instructors, these sessions promise to ignite a passion for food while equipping participants with essential culinary skills.
The 1889 Culinary Classes
January 20 (No School Day!) from 12:00-4:00 pm.
Quick Breads & The Muffin Mixing Method
Join us to learn about baking! In this class we will focus on quick breads, what they are, the muffin mixing method and how to read a recipe.
On the menu | banana bread and blueberry muffins.

Join us to learn about cooking! In this class we will focus on basic knife skills, measuring and how to cook pasta.

Cookie Day with Taylor Swift's Cookie Recipes!
Learn about the basic ingredients in cookies, the different types of cookies and the mixing method of cookies. We'll even be making a Taylor Swift Cookie recipe!
Make two different types of cookies | drop (Taylor's favorite pumpkin chocolate chip) and rolled (Taylor Swift's Chai Sugar Cookies!)

All Fargo Park District programs and leagues are first come first serve. Please be advised, a lot of programs and leagues fill up before the registration deadline. You cannot register for a program or league that is already full. Some programs and leagues have waitlists. If you are on a waitlist, you are NOT registered and are only contacted if a spot becomes available
