This beloved Downtown Fargo tradition attracts thousands of spectators from across the Fargo-Moorhead community and features dozens of dazzling entries decorated with lights and music. Enjoy a magical evening filled with spectacular floats, marching units, equestrian entries, and local leaders as we celebrate the start of the holiday season together.

Skate with a Cop

Start at Broadway Square:
Pick up your event map & mug to kick off your crawl! Choose from a 14 oz branded plastic mug or a beautiful 8 oz handmade ceramic cup by Hayden Swanson of Livin’ the Dream Pottery — perfect for taking home a unique piece of the day. (Limited supply, so grab your ticket early if you want one!)

While Moorhead will not host a separate event this year, we are bringing both cities together for one powerful day of celebration, reflection, and community at the heart of downtown Fargo.
