Oak Grove Park is one of the oldest parks the Fargo Park District has to offer. The 36-acre park is home to the state's largest horseshoe complex, tennis courts and an 18-hole disc golf course. There is a pedestrian bridge to Moorhead's Memorial Park. It also has picnic tables, recreational trails and shelters, both reservable and non-reservable.

 

Shelters & Reservations

Interested in renting a shelter? Visit the Reservation Page. Requests can be made starting the first business day of the year. Rentals are for May 1 - October 1.

Rentals must be made at least 3 business days in advance. The Park District has a NO REFUND policy. Please go to registrations/rentals and login to view pricing and reserve your shelter online. Fees are subject to change. Additional fees may apply.

Request for shelters can be made on-line, over the phone at 701-499-6060; or stop by the Fargo Park District office at 701 Main Avenue, Fargo, ND 58103.  Payment is due at the time a reservation is made. 

This shelter accommodates approximately 150-200 people. There is electricity in the shelter, a large charcoal grill and the restrooms are attached to the shelter. A Group Consumption Permit for Alcohol is available in conjunction with a paid rental.

This shelter accommodates 75-100 people. There is electricity in the shelter, a large charcoal grill and the restrooms are located next to the shelter, but are not attached. A Group Consumption Permit for Alcohol is available in conjunction with a paid rental.

First come first serve. No consumption or sound is permitted at this shelters. 

Amenities

Try the sport that is sweeping the nation, disc golf. It's great recreational fun for all ages and all you need is a flying disc. The Fargo course at Oak Grove is 18-holes and free to play. The course is open during park hours.

The Fargo Park District has a 18 horseshoe pits under a covered shelter located in Oak Grove Park.
