The Fargo Park District regrets to announce the closure of most outdoor ice-skating rinks, until further notice. Unseasonably warm temperatures have led to standing water and structurally unsound ice.
At this time, the SCHEELS Skating Rink at Broadway Square, located in downtown Fargo, will remain open to the public, providing a continued opportunity for outdoor ice skating.
Weather forecasts, temperature trends and ice conditions will be closely monitored and rinks will be reopened as soon as it is safe to do so. Regular updates can be found on the Fargo Parks website and via Fargo Park District social media channels.
