The Fargo Park District has installed the adaptive launch at Lindenwood Park for the season. The Forest River kayak launch is scheduled to be installed next week, weather permitting.

These launches are designed for launching non-motorized watercraft on a steady footing. Users are spared the mess and inconvenience of traversing through clay-like mud along the riverbank. The Lindenwood Adaptive Kayak Launch is fully ADA compliant, allowing for a wide variety of users to enjoy the benefits of non-motorized water sports on the Red River.

The floating bridge and one dock at Dike East and the dock at Iwen Park have also been installed. An additional pedestrian bridge is already in place at Lindenwood Park.

Dike East is located at 100 2nd St S. Lindenwood Park is located at 1701 5th St S. and Iwen Park is located at 1209 52nd Ave S. For more information, contact the Fargo Park District at 701-499-6060 or visit FargoParks.com.
