As the spring season blooms, community gardeners are invited to mark their calendars for May 5 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., as Yunker Farm Park opens its gates for garden plot rentals in collaboration with the Fargo Park District and North Dakota State University. All garden plot rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Located in north Fargo, Yunker Farm Park offers over 200 maintained garden plots for public rental, providing individuals with the opportunity to cultivate their very own garden.
The rental process begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 5. Staff and volunteers will be set up in the large gazebo shelter located near the parking lot. Staff and volunteers will aksi be on-site and available to answer questions and assist renters in selecting their garden spot.
Renters can secure a 20-foot by 30-foot garden plot at Yunker Farm for $20 per plot. Individuals are eligible to rent up to four plots. Payment can be made in cash or by check.
After the initial rental event on May 5, garden plot rentals will continue to be available for purchase at the Fargo Park District North Shop, 550 15th St. N., Fargo, ND 58102.
Please note that rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis until all plots are rented. Don't miss your chance to claim your spot!
