Celebrate Día de los Muertos at Broadway Square! Join us for an educational celebration on Tuesday, November 2, from 4:00-6:00 pm to learn more about this traditional holiday.
This free Fargo Park District event features three presentations, traditional Día de los Muertos activities, food and more. Kicking off the event at 4:00 pm is the presentation “What is Día de los Muertos.” At 4:30 pm, enjoy the presentation “Building an Altar” and finally at 5:00 pm take part in a presentation on authentic sugar skull creation and decorating.
Taste samples and bring home recipes of traditional Día de los Muertos foods, including Pan de Muerto and other sweet treats, courtesy of Casa Delicia Eatery. Visit the art tables for activities including coloring pages, sugar skull skeleton puppets, luminaries and more. Plus, try our language matching game which uses Spanish, Día de los Muertos-themed words and their English translations.
