The Fargo Park District strives toward serving the needs of financially disadvantaged youth with the help of the Fargo Park District Youth Scholarship Program. The Youth Scholarship Program helps to provide the opportunity for youth ages 18 and younger in the city of Fargo to participate in general recreation programs.
The Youth Scholarship Program was established in 1998. In 2022, over 300 scholarships were provided to local youth. The most popular scholarship is the summer pool pass, which allows children access to all pools all summer long.
