The Fargo Park District Foundation has some exciting news to share about our ongoing fundraising efforts for the Fargo Parks' Sports Complex. We've had a generous donor step up and pledge $1 million as a matching donation for the Fargo Park District's Sports Complex. The donor would like to inspire others to support this highly impactful project and would like to see the entire $1 million gift match by Giving Hearts Day, which is Thursday, February 10.
We're looking to members of our community to help us meet the whole match. And you can do that by giving by check of any amount or by giving online today with pregifts at GivingHeartsDay.org.
Gifts can be made out to Fargo Park District Foundation with "Giving Hearts Day" included in the memo line. If you'd like to have your family or business name inside the facility, naming opportunities are available at $15,000 and above. These opportunities are eligible for the $1 million dollar match. If interested, please contact Craig Bjur at email@example.com.
Every dollar counts, which means for every dollar donated, one more is raised to help complete this project. Gifts of $100 or more are recognized in the building. Whatever funds the Fargo Park District Foundation raises through Giving Hearts Day goes for this facility, which will become a highly impactful beacon for our region.
This facility provides opportunities for over 13,000 local kids and 20-plus local community organizations. And we hope the community joins us in the month leading up to Giving Hearts Day in supporting this project.
Did you know an average of one in 10 gifts made to US nonprofits is eligible as a matching gift? Thousands of local, regional, national and international companies support private philanthropy by matching employee gifts to nonprofits.
If you are interested in doubling your gift this year, please ask your employer if they match employee donations.
