People gather outdoors at night at Broadway Square decorated with illuminated trees and holiday lights, with a modern building glowing in the background.

The Holiday Tree Lighting at Broadway Square has been rescheduled to Tuesday, December 2, from 6 to 8 pm. The event will feature the same festive lineup planned for the original date and now includes an added highlight. The SCHEELS Skating Rink will officially open for the season during the celebration.

The Fargo Park District’s 32 foot tall holiday tree will be lit for the season with remarks from Susan Faus, Fargo Park District Executive Director, and Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney. Santa and Mrs. Claus will lead the countdown to light the tree, creating a memorable moment for families and friends gathered in the Square.

Guests can enjoy a full evening of activities, including:
• Trolley rides
• Live holiday music
• Reindeer
• Fire pits
• Ice skating at the SCHEELS Skating Rink

All activities are included with the updated date, offering a vibrant and welcoming start to the winter season.

Broadway Square is located at 201 Broadway N in Downtown Fargo. For updates on skating hours, winter amenities, and upcoming events, follow Fargo Broadway Square on social media or visit FargoBroadwaySquare.com.
