Join the one-hour dance-a-thon with Dance United on Monday, July 25 from 5:30-7:00 pm at Broadway Square. Dance United supports youth in our community by raising money to fill backpacks with school supplies for local children in need in Cass and Clay Counties.
Courts Plus Community Fitness, the YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties and Family Wellness are uniting for a great cause: the United Way School Supply Drive. These organizations work together throughout the year to prevent obesity, heart disease and other health related medical issues. Dance United supports our local youth by helping prepare them for school.
In 2022, over 6,000 local students will need to be equipped with a backpack and set of school supplies during the school year. Thanks to our community, we can help make that happen. Although Dance United is a free event, participants are asked to bring a school supply item for donation. Cash donations are also accepted.
There will be instructors and amazing door prizes from each facility. Prizes are given away throughout the event and participants must be present to win.
