Movies at The Square: ND Voice Series returns to Broadway Square this week with special activities as part of Fargo Navy Week. Join us at Broadway Square on Thursday, July 22 from 6:00-10:00 pm for our free event, Movies at The Square: ND Voice Series!
Movies at The Square: ND Voice Series occurs Thursdays during July and is presented in partnership with the North Dakota Film Society. Each week features trivia and a movie showcasing a tie to the people, places and/or topics of North Dakota.
This week’s event begins at 6:00 pm with trivia hosted by North Dakota Film Society and the movie, Transformers (2008), to follow at 7:00 pm. Transformers (2008) features North Dakota’s own Josh Duhamel, who stars as Capt. William Lennox, leader of the Army Rangers. As part of Fargo Navy Week, the Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Group 1 is onsite with their bomb suit and robot.
Return to Broadway Square Friday, July 23, for Family Fitness Fridays from 9:00-10:00 am. This week’s class is led by Navy EOD Group 1. The Navy Band Great Lakes is also performing a short concert on Friday, July 23 from 6:00-7:00 pm. All events are free and open to the public.
