Little Free Library began in Wisconsin in 2009 and has since grown to over 100,000 Little Free Libraries across 100+ countries around the world- including right here in our Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo community! Broadway Square’s new Little Free Library joins over 50 Little Free Libraries in the area- spreading from Horace to north of Hector International Airport and from Dilworth to west of Sheyenne Street in West Fargo.

Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone can take or share a book. As the largest grassroots book-sharing network in the world, the Little Free Library nonprofit helps build community, inspire readers and expand book access to all. These libraries are a great way to connect with your neighborhood as they are not only found in community spaces such as schools and Broadway Square but also in front yards and small neighborhood parks. Plus, anyone is allowed to start a Little Free Library, whether that’s purchasing a pre-made one or building your own!

As part of the Read in Color initiative, Broadway Square’s Little Free Library carries a diverse set of books meant for people of all ages. Learn more about the Read in Color initiative, plus other programs offered from the Little Free Library organization at LittleFreeLibrary.org. Plus, visit the Little Free Library map* to find the nearest library to your neighborhood!

Broadway Square is located at 201 Broadway N, Fargo. For more information, call 701-499-6060 or visit FargoBroadwaySquare.com.

*Note – the Little Free Library map does not include all libraries. It only includes libraries which people have registered onto the map.
