The Fargo Park District, which maintains and manages the Broadway Square plaza, has named Ana Rusness-Petersen as the manager of programs and events for Broadway Square. Ana has previously worked on similar projects in Austin, Texas and Seattle, Washington. She has more than 270 events already planned for 2021 and is working on securing partnerships with other groups for concerts, the farmer's market, yoga and cultural festivals.
The grand opening of Broadway Square is set for the third week of November during the city's annual Holiday Lights Parade.
