The SCHEELS Skating Rink and Skate Shack are officially open for the season!
Everyone is welcome to hit the ice whether you're out with family and friends or sharpening your skating skills. Enjoy music, twinkling lights, concessions, and skate rentals all winter long.
Open skate begins each day after morning maintenance and resurfacing and continues until 8:00 pm, when the lights turn off and the rink entrance closes.
The Skate Shack will be located next to the Broadway Square bathrooms. For details on Skate Shack hours, concessions, merchandise, and skate rentals, visit The Skate Shack page. Skate rentals will be available for $5.00 in adult, junior, and youth sizes.
To keep the rink safe and enjoyable for everyone, hockey sticks, pucks, street shoes, and pets will not be allowed on the ice. Please enjoy the SCHEELS Skating Rink and review the Rink Rules & Regulations here before skating.

Skate Shack Hours
Open Skate on SCHEELS Skating Rink is available from late-November through March, weather permitting and begins after morning maintenance and resurfacing and runs until 8:00 pm, when the lights turn off, and the rink entrance is locked.
Rink may temporarily close for resurfacing, events and due to weather.
Skate Shack Hours:
- Monday-Friday from 4:00-8:00 pm
- Saturday-Sunday from 12:00-8:00 pm
Special Hours:
- December 24-25: CLOSED
- December 26-January 2: 12:00-8:00 pm
Hours are subject to change according to weather conditions, maintenance needs and events. SCHEELS Skating Rink and The Skate Shack close when temperatures reach -10 degrees or colder, or there are wind chills of -30 or greater.
