Broadway Square is all about sharing meaningful stories and providing transformative experiences. It’s focused on exploring diverse perspectives, passionately sharing knowledge and lived experiences and creating memorable moments for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. We are dedicated to producing and presenting new, exciting, outside-the-box and uniquely Fargo activities that leave a lasting impression and have a meaningful impact on our community. We want our programming to have something for everyone, authentically reflecting and speaking to the multitude of diverse voices in our region.
Broadway Square’s activation plan is designed to establish the right balance of formal programming and informal space usage. Each year, Broadway Square anticipates producing or presenting approximately 270 events, activities and pop-up activations. These include daily ice skating, Frostival and Rink Reels events in the winter; movies, concerts and gaming days in the summer; and cross-seasonal farmers' markets, cultural celebrations, coffee and craft beer festivals, speakers and workshop series and a spring makers' market to name just a few.
Broadway Square will offer a rich collection of core programming and collaborative pop-up activations throughout 2021. The Square will incorporate virtual engagement opportunities into its ongoing activities, allowing community members and snow-birds who wish to join in and participate remotely to do so.

Frostival is all about celebrating the “cool” of winter with outdoor events, concerts and family-friendly activities across our North of Normal city, Fargo, and its sister cities, West Fargo and Moorhead. Broadway Square is eager to join in the fun by hosting and producing the following activities:
- Fargo Film, Food, Fashion & Fun Celebration (a signature Broadway Square Frostival event)
- A stop during the Coffee & Cocoa Crawl
- The Frostival Mural Selfie Station
