Bring your kiddos to Island Park for a day of fun as the Fargo Park District presents the 22nd Annual Midwest Kid Fest! This event, sponsored by Sanford Children's, is on June 11 from 11:00 am-7:00 pm.

Enjoy a day packed with fun, family-friendly games and activities. Admission to the park and for all activities is free for kids and parents. This year’s event includes a day-long photo Teddy Bear Parade, interactive educational booths, life-sized games, an entertainment stage, petting zoo and much more.

Island Park is filled with music, laughter and bright colors as children play and learn at Midwest Kid Fest. Bring the whole family to enjoy interactive booths and life size games such as checkers, Yahtzee, Tetris and more. This year’s interactive educational booths feature a variety of area business and organizations. Make sure to check out Picasso Point sponsored by Sparklight. There are a lot of art activities and a fun area where you can create whatever your imagination can think up. The best part is, all activities are free!

This year attendees can take part in the photo Teddy Bear Parade all day-long. The Teddy Bear Parade is an interactive part of the event with photo stations lined up throughout Island Park. Go from station to station and take photos with your teddy bear and share them on social media using #FargoParks.

Main Stage entertainment presented by Cass-Clay Creamery, features performances from Penny & Pals, Gasper School of Dance, Honeysuckle Hooping, Gooseberry Park Players and a dance party with OnTrack DJ.

New this year, make sure you head over to Percussion Plain. In this interactive area, kids can try their hand at making their own music on a variety of homemade xylophones, drums and more.

Stop by The Forest to visit with the Fargo Park District, learn all about what you can do in the park this summer, pick up some take-home crafts, an activity packet, temporary tattoo and more!
